So, there could be an argument about who’s right in the situation. Today is also a time during which you should be careful when hosting friends or family members. Do your best to bite your tongue and to keep calm if they are annoying/upsetting you. Today is not a day for tensions.
There Are Potential Conflicts With People You Are Hosting/Close to Today
Unfortunately, this is a time when no one has the correct answer. The reason behind this is that much of the disagreement with people you are either hosting at home/close to is based on subjective feelings and opinions, rather than facts. With the passion running high, this conflict can easily go from a small spark to a wildfire quite quickly. It’s in your best interest to stick firmly to your position without getting caught in the need to prove yourself at the cost of hurting others.
This conflict is a test of your patience and communication skills. At times you may feel like no one is listening to you in the midst of advocating their own position, however, you will get your chance to speak. At that moment you’ll want to remain calm and firm in what you want to share. This demonstration of self-control can help others come to their senses.
Until you get your chance to share your thoughts, try to avoid getting caught in the drama of what’s happening with the individuals you are hosting in your home or are close to. Much of the circumstance is being blown out of proportion, and it’s not worth your energy to be involved in a situation where people are looking to fight rather than constructively find solutions.
