Four of Cups: Indifference
The Four of Cups is the card of indifference, complacency, boredom, and doubt. It tells that you are going through a life stage where you feel pretty emotionally withdrawn. It is as though things around you are stagnating. There is a distinct lack of inspiration which is, in turn, causing you to give those close to you the silent treatment. Even though this all may sound rather worrying, your angels wish you to know that this way of being is simply a part of life. Things will get better.
Try Not to Give People Around You the Silent Treatment
Even though you are currently feeling bored with things in general, try not to give those around you the silent treatment. The way you feel right now is perfectly natural. Everyone goes through these feelings from time to time. Just be gentle with yourself until this period passes.
Perhaps you have become tired of waiting for something to happen. Your usual motivation may have become undermined by feelings of lethargy and boredom. Your energy levels are low, so it’s no wonder you feel somewhat disconnected from normal life. It’s crucial that you focus now on getting things back on track because treading water only serves to amplify your negative feelings.
Reconnect with your Emotions
The best way to reconnect with your buried emotions is to set aside some time to figure out what is making you feel so uninspired. Once you manage this, you will be able to easily ascertain why you feel the way you do. Then, you can begin to change things so you can get out of the slump you’re in and begin to live life to the full.
If you’re feeling emotionally drained (which is highly likely right now), try to be kind to yourself in order not to deplete yourself any further. Going outdoors to spend some time in nature could really work well for you right now. In addition, writing your thoughts and feelings out on paper is cathartic. You could even just have a talk to a friend about how you feel. Just do what feels right for you in order to reconnect with your higher self.
